Over the last year, she was our partner in planning every detail of our event. Throughout the process, not only did she understand the vision we had, but she also understood how much our story as a couple and as individuals played a part in shaping the final event. We were purposeful in having a nontraditional wedding celebration, and Laura was so respectful of this decision. She took thorough and detailed notes of every design discussion. No detail was omitted. She remembered EVERYTHING that I had told her over the one year of planning. Design meetings with all vendors went so smoothly. Laura even did an emergency lipstick removal from my gown. She had a whole kit ready and saved the day! My heroine! Without exception, every guest told us how beautiful the venue looked and how much fun they had. Laura and Emily took the time to get to know us as a couple, leading to the most personal, intimate, and “us” event, with every detail meticulously considered and executed to perfection. Planning our wedding with Wolf & Bird was - dare I say it - fun. Wolf & Bird took the stress out of it, and we had a blast refining our vision in our mood board sessions, discussing details, and ideating what seemed like the most unrealistic ideas at the time which ultimately turned into reality. Wolf & Bird only takes on a small number of events per year, which means that they can truly get to know you and focus wholeheartedly on your event. I didn’t realize how much this mattered when I was initially looking at planners, but in understanding the effort and planning required for a wedding, it truly made the difference - we felt like our wedding was always a priority to Laura & Emily, who always had time to discuss whatever was on our minds and made us laugh constantly along the way. Every meeting felt like we were hanging with our closest friends. Wolf & Bird selected vendors who were detail-oriented, creative, and hard working. They painstakingly prepared every detail, timeline, and coordinated with 20+ vendors to ensure that the event was perfect. Their knowledge of the industry and network is unparalleled. One example: we were hoping to have a magician during cocktail hour, and Wolf & Bird jumped at the challenge and found us one whom our guests are still raving about and asking how we found them - the answer of course being Laura & Emily. Wolf & Bird took any idea we threw out at them and made it happen; even those we had mentioned once in passing were followed up on. Wolf & Bird also worked magic in our budget & vendor negotiations, getting us complimentary transportation upgrades and using their leverage in the industry to make the impossible happen. When things do inevitably go awry during the process, Wolf & Bird will problem solve any situation. I mistakenly asked to downsize the dance floor during our planning, and my mom and I realized the mistake we had made when arriving to our venue 2 days prior to our wedding. Laura was on it. Before we knew it, a new team was on its way to install another portion of flooring the day before our wedding… and without a rush fee. Laura truly saved the day. We don’t know how she did it, but it was so on theme of Wolf & Bird seemingly snapping their fingers and making it happen. Finally, my mother actually had FUN at our wedding. I didn’t know it was possible for her to let loose during the biggest event she’s ever thrown, but she completely trusted the Wolf & Bird team to make it more perfect than we ever could. Simply put, Wolf & Bird designed and executed our wedding beyond our wildest imagination. It would have been impossible without them guiding us through every step of the process and making our dreams come true.

She had lists and excel sheets for everything which was a major stress relief for me. Laura's design skills also allowed us to incorporate even more personal touches throughout the ceremony and reception. It was always clear that their primary goal was to plan a wedding that was personal to us. There were several times (especially our design session complete with charcuterie and wine) that we found ourselves actually having fun during the planning stages! As if all of their time and energy in the pre-planning months weren't enough, they were absolutely indispensable on the day of the wedding. They kept everyone and everything meticulously organized and if there were any issues on the day-of, we certainly didn't notice (neither did our guests who gave us so many compliments on the W&B team). My parents are hoping that another family event comes up just so that we can hire them again! Shout out to Emily especially for keeping the groomsmen in line, figuring out how to bustle my dress when no one else could, keeping everyone on the dance floor hydrated, and for being prepared with double-sided tape for my dress. Like I said, there are no words to express how awesome Wolf and Bird are as wedding planners/designers and also people. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone and hope we get an excuse to use their services again in the future!

They not only brought to life every single detail of my daughter's dream, but brought so many incredible ideas to us we couldn't even dream of, creating a truly magical, spectacular wedding. They guided my daughter, in first helping her pin point what she loves, in such a creative and thoughtful way, each decision, and the result in every aspect was beyond beautiful, from the gorgeous table setting, considering every beautiful tablecloth there is, to would we want to add musicians to our gorgeous flower-laden staircase as guests enter. Knowing my daughter's vision, they went to the ends of the earth to find every detail that would bring it to life, and again, even more than we could have dreamed of. They graciously guided us and stayed on top of every stage, every detail of the planning (and spared us from a tremendous amount time communicating with vendors, which they did so kindly). I could go on and on about all the pre-planning and the absolute stunning world they created for all events surrounding our wedding. But the day of, they orchestrated everything so beautifully, so seamlessly we didn't even know it. How do they do this? (Besides being creative geniuses and so very organized, and know all the very best resources) Laura and Emily themselves do this, which is what we originally wanted, having a personal relationship, not just one of many clients. Our only regret was that they couldn't sit down with us during the reception dinner, (they were busy making the magic happen!) as we grew to love them so, they would have been our very special guests. Every step of the way with them was pure joy. My husband and I both say that we are going to just come up with another event to have, just to go through this again with them! We could not be more grateful to them, for creating a wedding that went beyond any of our wildest dreams.

There were special touches (putting together a custom cocktail and bourbon tasting, sourcing the most beautiful linens and tablescape items, and having a drink waiting in hand as we exited the ceremony) that made us realize how much they cared about us as people. My husband was obsessed with having "snow" at our December wedding and Laura went all out helping him with fake snow, a snow machine, and light effect snowflakes on the venue. I knew she really cared about those details and his happiness. W&B tends to everyone's needs, not just the bride! I get a little teary thinking about how much they did for us. Our wedding was so great because of them. For people who did so much, you hardly noticed them on the day, they were like wedding ninjas and I love them so much. I really think if you came to W&B with no plan or a fully developed vision, they would know right where to lean in and help you. I highly highly recommend them and the added expense, because it will make all the difference in making your day unforgettable.

She immediately made me feel at ease and within 10 minutes of our conversation, I knew we were going to go with Wolf + Bird - and I’m so, so glad we did. I had the pleasure of working with Laura and Emily to plan our October wedding in Cincinnati, which thanks to COVID, ended up being for almost 2 years. It’s safe to say that we really got to know each other (silverlining!). The thought of planning a wedding was incredibly overwhelming to me from the onset and Emily and Laura were my rocks throughout the entire process. Not only did they keep me calm and collected over the course of 2 years, but they also did everything - literally everything lol. Whenever I would text them a random thought or concern, you better believe they were already all over it. By the end of year 1 of planning, it felt like they were able to read my mind - which was probably my most favorite thing about them. Second favorite, how personable AND professional they are, such a hard balance to master and they do it effortlessly. I mean the entire wedding day, even my dad could not get over how fantastic they were, it’s all he can talk about still 2 weeks later. From the design to the logistics, Laura and Emily made my wedding dreams come true. It was truly the most perfect day and it would not have been possible at all without them. I have been hearing non-stop from friends and family that it was the most spectacular wedding they’ve ever been to and I owe that all to Laura and Emily.

On wedding weekend, they solved all of the last minute issues that arise, and then some. A guest brought a date last minute? There's Laura setting a place at the table like nothing ever happened. was to be a very small simple garden wedding (10 people) evolved into a little bigger wedding (16). There were some bumps in the road during the planning phase, but Laura remained calm and talked me down on more than one occasion. In the end we had an incredible/intimate and perfect wedding, complete with beautiful pictures over the Cincinnati skyline, dinner at Jeff Ruby's Precinct, and a view of the WEBN fireworks at the top of The Phelps. We could not have had a more perfect day! Four instead of five stars only because we were hurried (our fault) at the start of the ceremony and bridesmaids were directed to walk in before a couple family members (we did not have a rehearsal). Otherwise everything was absolutely perfect. A job well done! We would definitely recommend Wolfe and Bird!

They helped with every single detail from invitations, to venues, florist, you name it they delivered it. We started out as clients and it grew into an amazing friendship. They truly are a full service planning company- and also just generally awesome to be around. went above and beyond, creating more than just a party but an experience. They came up with ideas that took the theme to a level I wouldn't have imagined. Little Bow Peep greeted us at the door, sung Happy Birthday, helped to make flower crowns with the children, and led a story reading. A beautiful "unicorn" even came walking up the drive, draped in flowers, to meet the children (and the just as excited adults) and take photos with us. Everyone couldn't stop talking about how much they enjoyed the luncheon food and the cocktails. Wolf and Bird was easy to communicate and work with. They made a very short timeline feel like it was no problem. They took away the stress of feeling like I was a host so that I was able to savor and enjoy the day as if I was one of the guests. They truly made it a memorable day for all of my family and friends and I could not recommend them enough.
