Wolf & Bird | Event Design & Styling

e allowing all to have a carefree and memorable experience from beginning to end. The very BEST!

erfect day. They were always there to help and always made good decisions. I would recommend them to make your day perfect too!

timeliness, dedication to our vision, and kindness. We would recommend them without hesitation! Anyone would be lucky to work with these wonderful ladies. Thanks Laura, Emily, and your whole team for everything you did for us!

phone call, I knew that Wolf and Bird was the right event planner for us. Laura immediately put me at ease with her positive and energetic approach. Over the last year, she was our partner in planning every detail of our event. Throughout the process, not only did she understand the vision we had, but she also understood how much our story as a couple and as individuals played a part in shaping the final event. We were purposeful in having a nontraditional wedding celebration, and Laura was so respectful of this decision. She took thorough and detailed notes of every design discussion. No detail was omitted. She remembered EVERYTHING that I had told her over the one year of planning. Design meetings with all vendors went so smoothly. I could see that Wolf and Bird has cultivated excellent relationships with all the people that make the event happen. There is no doubt that these wonderful collaborations made our event so special. Finally after one year of planning, we had our celebration night. It was better than I ever could have imagined or dreamed to be possible! Elegant, opulent, sophisticated, elevated, modern but not overdone. Just the right amount of drama with a little bit of romance. Exactly the vibe we were going for. The whole Wolf and Bird team worked hard to bring every detail together on the day of the event, and they ensured that food, drink, and service went like clockwork over the 4 hour event. Laura even did an emergency lipstick removal from my gown. She had a whole kit ready and saved the day! My heroine! Without exception, every guest told us how beautiful the venue looked and how much fun they had. What sets Wolf and Bird apart from other event planners, and why should you choose this company over others? Laura, Emily, and team have genuine and authentic hearts. It's even better that they are a family business. They are an incredibly down-to-earth team with impeccable taste and design sensibility. It's that combination that sets them apart from any others. They made our event not just fun but meaningful. It was truly the happiest day for us and our family, after 12 years of waiting for the right time to come together. It's been a joy to work with them over the last year! (Thank you to Laura for also going virtual dress shopping with me in NYC !) I will actually miss talking to Laura regularly, now that our event is over. The final and most lasting endorsement comes from my husband. Skeptical in the beginning to the need of an event planner (why do we need one????), he has become Laura's biggest fan and Wolf and Bird's strongest advocate. My husband said our event was the best party he has ever attended!! I think that says it all.

new the exact vision I was hoping for and went above and beyond to carry this out. Their attention to detail was by far the best I have ever seen. Laura and Emily knew exactly what I was looking for, even though I kept asking a million questions. It was an absolute joy to see the guests reaction (especially my daughters) to the beautifully decorated venue. I couldn’t have asked for anything more. Thank you again Laura and Emily-you are one in a million!!!!!

I highly recommend them for any and all events!

who are that needle-in-a-haystack combination of incredibly creative visionaries and relentless executors, and are looking to plan an event that blows everyone away and feels so incredibly personal no matter the size, Wolf & Bird are the answer. Laura and Emily took the time to get to know us as a couple, leading to the most personal, intimate, and “us” event, with every detail meticulously considered and executed to perfection. Planning our wedding with Wolf & Bird was - dare I say it - fun. Wolf & Bird took the stress out of it, and we had a blast refining our vision in our mood board sessions, discussing details, and ideating what seemed like the most unrealistic ideas at the time which ultimately turned into reality. Wolf & Bird only takes on a small number of events per year, which means that they can truly get to know you and focus wholeheartedly on your event. I didn’t realize how much this mattered when I was initially looking at planners, but in understanding the effort and planning required for a wedding, it truly made the difference - we felt like our wedding was always a priority to Laura & Emily, who always had time to discuss whatever was on our minds and made us laugh constantly along the way. Every meeting felt like we were hanging with our closest friends. Wolf & Bird selected vendors who were detail-oriented, creative, and hard working. They painstakingly prepared every detail, timeline, and coordinated with 20+ vendors to ensure that the event was perfect. Their knowledge of the industry and network is unparalleled. One example: we were hoping to have a magician during cocktail hour, and Wolf & Bird jumped at the challenge and found us one whom our guests are still raving about and asking how we found them - the answer of course being Laura & Emily. Wolf & Bird took any idea we threw out at them and made it happen; even those we had mentioned once in passing were followed up on. Wolf & Bird also worked magic in our budget & vendor negotiations, getting us complimentary transportation upgrades and using their leverage in the industry to make the impossible happen. When things do inevitably go awry during the process, Wolf & Bird will problem solve any situation. I mistakenly asked to downsize the dance floor during our planning, and my mom and I realized the mistake we had made when arriving to our venue 2 days prior to our wedding. Laura was on it. Before we knew it, a new team was on its way to install another portion of flooring the day before our wedding… and without a rush fee. Laura truly saved the day. We don’t know how she did it, but it was so on theme of Wolf & Bird seemingly snapping their fingers and making it happen. Finally, my mother actually had FUN at our wedding. I didn’t know it was possible for her to let loose during the biggest event she’s ever thrown, but she completely trusted the Wolf & Bird team to make it more perfect than we ever could. Simply put, Wolf & Bird designed and executed our wedding beyond our wildest imagination. It would have been impossible without them guiding us through every step of the process and making our dreams come true.

t with them, we knew we were in excellent hands. Although I consider myself to be fairly organized, it was a relief to meet someone like Laura who was even more organized than me! She had lists and excel sheets for everything which was a major stress relief for me. I always knew what was on my "to-do list" and never had to worry that anything, even the most minuscule details, were going to be forgotten. Laura and Emily are absolute wedding masters and helped us with so many things that we wouldn't have even thought of or known how to troubleshoot. They walked us through everything with such patience and expertise. They also know and have personal connections with all the best vendors in the area so everyone we hired for our wedding was top-notch. Laura's design skills also allowed us to incorporate even more personal touches throughout the ceremony and reception. It was always clear that their primary goal was to plan a wedding that was personal to us. There were several times (especially our design session complete with charcuterie and wine) that we found ourselves actually having fun during the planning stages! As if all of their time and energy in the pre-planning months weren't enough, they were absolutely indispensable on the day of the wedding. They kept everyone and everything meticulously organized and if there were any issues on the day-of, we certainly didn't notice (neither did our guests who gave us so many compliments on the W&B team). My parents are hoping that another family event comes up just so that we can hire them again! Shout out to Emily especially for keeping the groomsmen in line, figuring out how to bustle my dress when no one else could, keeping everyone on the dance floor hydrated, and for being prepared with double-sided tape for my dress. Like I said, there are no words to express how awesome Wolf and Bird are as wedding planners/designers and also people. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone and hope we get an excuse to use their services again in the future!

ride because we knew Laura and Emily would always be there to solve any problem or make any crazy idea a reality. I went into the experience unsure of what I wanted my wedding to look like, and their amazing design session was crucial in the development of my vision and helping me figure out exactly what I wanted. From there, Laura and Emily did everything in their power to make my dream come to life. They are extremely connected to every vendor in the city, and always advocated fiercely on our behalf to ensure they understood our vision. They never took no for an answer! Most importantly, working with Wolf and Bird is such a personal experience, and Laura and Emily will forever be part of our lives. We will always be grateful to them for all they did for us and our favorite day.

mily of Wolf and Bird far surpassed ANYTHING any of us have ever seen, or hoped for. They not only brought to life every single detail of my daughter's dream, but brought so many incredible ideas to us we couldn't even dream of, creating a truly magical, spectacular wedding. Every step of the way, they made so very fun and stress free. They guided my daughter, in first helping her pin point what she loves, in such a creative and thoughtful way, each decision, and the result in every aspect was beyond beautiful, from the gorgeous table setting, considering every beautiful tablecloth there is, to would we want to add musicians to our gorgeous flower-laden staircase as guests enter. Knowing my daughter's vision, they went to the ends of the earth to find every detail that would bring it to life, and again, even more than we could have dreamed of. They graciously guided us and stayed on top of every stage, every detail of the planning (and spared us from a tremendous amount time communicating with vendors, which they did so kindly). I could go on and on about all the pre-planning and the absolute stunning world they created for all events surrounding our wedding. But the day of, they orchestrated everything so beautifully, so seamlessly we didn't even know it. How do they do this? (Besides being creative geniuses and so very organized, and know all the very best resources) Laura and Emily themselves do this, which is what we originally wanted, having a personal relationship, not just one of many clients. Our only regret was that they couldn't sit down with us during the reception dinner, (they were busy making the magic happen!) as we grew to love them so, they would have been our very special guests. Every step of the way with them was pure joy. My husband and I both say that we are going to just come up with another event to have, just to go through this again with them! We could not be more grateful to them, for creating a wedding that went beyond any of our wildest dreams.

of what we discussed for reference afterwards. This was a great starting point for us in our planning process. We'd recommend for any couple who thinks they know what they want, but could use some fine-tuning and a professional eye!

nning is unique, detail-oriented, and flawless. Their organization, professionalism, passion, and design expertise are just a few qualities I'll call out but they truly stand out as the best planners I will ever have the chance to work with. I always felt calm and knew that every single little or big thing was being handled by them, and with grace. We owe the wedding of our dreams to Laura and Emily and I am forever grateful for their hard work and guidance. HIGHLY RECOMMEND - you will not regret it!! Not only did we land the perfect planning team, but we also landed some great friends through the process. <3

in the year leading up to our wedding. The design, planning and execution were flawless - truly flawless. I was incredibly impressed in how they managed such a large wedding party (340+), the many vendors and and all other details. It came together in such a phenomenal way for us at Greenacres with Wold & Bird delivering. I always thought I would just get married and then be ready to move onto the other parts of my life but damn was that a fun wedding weekend (take me back). If you want a high-class wedding with your personal flair, Wolf & Bird will give that to you, your family and all your guests!

wanted to use a snow machine! If you have a crazy idea, they will work their tail off to make it happen seamlessly. On the day of the wedding, they worked >14 hours and had an amazing team of design/execute ninjas. Wouldn't hesitate to use them for any future events or celebrations!

my own heart!). We considered ourselves pretty organized and had a clear vision of what we wanted, but felt that a professional planner would help us keep track of details and add a special extra touch. They did that and so much more. There were special touches (putting together a custom cocktail and bourbon tasting, sourcing the most beautiful linens and tablescape items, and having a drink waiting in hand as we exited the ceremony) that made us realize how much they cared about us as people. My husband was obsessed with having "snow" at our December wedding and Laura went all out helping him with fake snow, a snow machine, and light effect snowflakes on the venue. I knew she really cared about those details and his happiness. W&B tends to everyone's needs, not just the bride! I get a little teary thinking about how much they did for us. Our wedding was so great because of them. For people who did so much, you hardly noticed them on the day, they were like wedding ninjas and I love them so much. I really think if you came to W&B with no plan or a fully developed vision, they would know right where to lean in and help you. I highly highly recommend them and the added expense, because it will make all the difference in making your day unforgettable.

think she could sense I was a little worried about my search. She immediately made me feel at ease and within 10 minutes of our conversation, I knew we were going to go with Wolf + Bird - and I’m so, so glad we did. I had the pleasure of working with Laura and Emily to plan our October wedding in Cincinnati, which thanks to COVID, ended up being for almost 2 years. It’s safe to say that we really got to know each other (silverlining!). The thought of planning a wedding was incredibly overwhelming to me from the onset and Emily and Laura were my rocks throughout the entire process. Not only did they keep me calm and collected over the course of 2 years, but they also did everything - literally everything lol. Whenever I would text them a random thought or concern, you better believe they were already all over it. By the end of year 1 of planning, it felt like they were able to read my mind - which was probably my most favorite thing about them. Second favorite, how personable AND professional they are, such a hard balance to master and they do it effortlessly. I mean the entire wedding day, even my dad could not get over how fantastic they were, it’s all he can talk about still 2 weeks later. From the design to the logistics, Laura and Emily made my wedding dreams come true. It was truly the most perfect day and it would not have been possible at all without them. I have been hearing non-stop from friends and family that it was the most spectacular wedding they’ve ever been to and I owe that all to Laura and Emily.

ing to make the evening a huge success!

ing. Regular Zoom sessions, calls, and email updates from Emily & Laura made us feel immediately at ease about planning a wedding in a city that we don't live in. They know, and will get, the very best vendors within every budget range. We were extremely happy with their suggestions, impressed by their organizational abilities, and relieved at the burdens that they shouldered in our place. On wedding weekend, they solved all of the last minute issues that arise, and then some. A guest brought a date last minute? There's Laura setting a place at the table like nothing ever happened. Groom needs a drink? There's Emily with a beer. We would highly recommend Wolf & Bird to any couple in the greater Cincinnati area!

e it so easy not to be so stressed out and disappointed. Our family couldn't of been more appreciate of your hard work and effortless passion in what you both do. Their commitment to detail, creative ideas and bringing their and my daughters vision to life was beyond magical! What a delight to work with them. You guys amazed me... I've never seen and or been to a wedding like this. Everything was perfect and the day of the the wedding I was blown away with your energy and attention you gave to everyone. Your staff was brilliant! It was truly more than I could of imagined for the bride and groom. I am still in awe of it and the feedback from family, friends and other guest there has been so fun and rewarding to hear. Everyone had the best time. You both are a joy to know. We are so thrilled to be using your talents again in May 2022 for our other daughters wedding!!! Laura and Emily it's perfectly clear you both love what you do and seeing you guys watch it come to life was insanely REMARKABLE! Love you both so much.. Wedding #2 let the planning begin. Cant wait to see the results!

r passion for event planning and meticulousness with details is apparent in the work they produce. My bridal shower was a dreamscape of everything I love, and it wouldn’t have happened without Wolf & Bird.

was to be a very small simple garden wedding (10 people) evolved into a little bigger wedding (16). There were some bumps in the road during the planning phase, but Laura remained calm and talked me down on more than one occasion. In the end we had an incredible/intimate and perfect wedding, complete with beautiful pictures over the Cincinnati skyline, dinner at Jeff Ruby's Precinct, and a view of the WEBN fireworks at the top of The Phelps. We could not have had a more perfect day! Four instead of five stars only because we were hurried (our fault) at the start of the ceremony and bridesmaids were directed to walk in before a couple family members (we did not have a rehearsal). Otherwise everything was absolutely perfect. A job well done! We would definitely recommend Wolfe and Bird!

aughters wedding. The original wedding was planned for June 20,2020. Well we all know what happened. From the first meeting until the new wedding date of August 29,2021 we were constantly in touch. They helped with every single detail from invitations, to venues, florist, you name it they delivered it. We started out as clients and it grew into an amazing friendship. These girls are absolutely amazing and will blow you away with their creativity, eye for detail, and loving and warm personalities. I wish I had another daughter so we could do this all over again. Kudos to Wolf & Bird

vision, worked professionally with other vendors, and felt like part of our family. The wedding day was simply perfect, and as the mother of the bride, I was able to relax and enjoy every minute of my daughter and her husband’s special day. A five star rating doesn’t even seem adequate for their work, enthusiasm and professionalism. Thank you, Laura and Emily!

"legal" wedding in the meantime. Laura and Emily helped planned that in addition to our large ceremony/reception the following year. Both celebrations were perfect. I sincerely do not have any negative feedback or any regrets. Laura an Emily are truly professionals in this space. A few things I loved about Laura and Emily -The initial consultations where they really got to know myself and my wife. The cheese board and champagne was a plus :) - The constant updates via text and email so we were always in the loop. Communication is critical and it was on point every step of the way -Bias for action. Laura and Emily act quickly to resolve any road-bumps that occur throughout the entire process -Knowledge. Laura am Emily truly are experts in this field and had the best point of contacts for literately everything you may need. I absolutely give Wolf & Bird my highest endorsement as premiere partners when planning your special events!

lanning stress free. Cannot recommend them enough!

free. With their vision and execution, our wedding day was a perfect reflection of our life together and we couldn’t be more thankful for all of their help. Emily and Laura will make any wedding day the best day of your life and will make your vision a complete dream come true. Their professionalism and expertise make the most difficult decisions easy. They are truly a blast to work with and make wedding planning so much fun!

ail. I don’t know how they did it with so many restrictions in place, but they did and it was perfect! Not to mention the fact that Laura and Emily planned not just one wedding for our daughter but two! Our family, including the bride, became ill with COVID 4 days before the scheduled wedding date and everything had to be cancelled. Laura and Emily’s kindness and understanding plus their “we’ve got this for you” attitude was way beyond anything we could have anticipated or expected. We were and are incredibly grateful. From cancelling and rescheduling vendors, negotiating new dates, dealing with high emotions and so much more, they were amazing. I cannot imagine having had anyone other than Laura and Emily, owners of Wolf and Bird, to work with our daughter and plan her most perfect wedding day. I cannot recommend me them enough!

not once, but 2x! Unfortunately, our first wedding date was cancelled due to COVID- but Emily and Laura made our last-minute rescheduling less stressful. They truly are a full service planning company- and also just generally awesome to be around. Emily is a logistics master and Laura handles all details with ease- and makes everything look styled and gorgeous. Every meeting we had with them was organized and thoughtful- they even made sure we had a packing list beforehand so we didn't forget anything. I can't imagine not having them for our wedding- it was such a perfect day and I can only attribute that to how much time they took to get to know us and our vision. If you're thinking about getting a planner- do it. Working with the team at Wolf and Bird will allow you to fully enjoy every part of the planning process and your wedding day to the fullest.

nd ears in Cincinnati. Laura and Emily were easy to work with from our initial contact, all the way through the event. It was easy to get in touch with them and they responded to emails promptly. When they set expectations for when I could expect information, they followed through on time, 100 % of time. Laura brought a lot of creativity to the planning, suggesting things I hadn't considered while also working with my ideas. I always felt like it was our party, they were just putting the finishing touches on it and refining the event. Wolf & Bird stayed within the budget we set for the event, delivered everything we asked for and more, on time and in the most professional manner. We would definitely recommend their services to brides or anyone planning an event in or around Cincinnati.

went above and beyond, creating more than just a party but an experience. They came up with ideas that took the theme to a level I wouldn't have imagined. Little Bow Peep greeted us at the door, sung Happy Birthday, helped to make flower crowns with the children, and led a story reading. A beautiful "unicorn" even came walking up the drive, draped in flowers, to meet the children (and the just as excited adults) and take photos with us. Everyone couldn't stop talking about how much they enjoyed the luncheon food and the cocktails. Wolf and Bird was easy to communicate and work with. They made a very short timeline feel like it was no problem. They took away the stress of feeling like I was a host so that I was able to savor and enjoy the day as if I was one of the guests. They truly made it a memorable day for all of my family and friends and I could not recommend them enough.

backdrop and props were everything I could have ever imagined. I cannot recommend Laura and Emily enough. Wolf & Bird is who you want to work with if you are looking for a highly custom event and attention to detail. I plan on using their talents for my husband’s 40th birthday next year.

ind the scenes- she asks enough questions and then takes everything from there. We've worked with many planners in the industry and hands down reccomend Wolf & Bird!

ut Emily and Laura took care of everything-- including all the back and forth on logistics with each member of our vendor team. They also gave us a shortlist of great vendors to work with (also helpful as an out-of-towner), and offered great advice on a million design questions from the color of the bridesmaid's dress colors to flatware rentals. The day of was beautiful, and we wouldn't have changed a thing. Thanks Laura and Emily!

& Bird because of their epic style and stunning attention to detail. They helped with décor and planning. The Wolf & Bird team are an unstoppable force. They do what they do with such ease they could do it in their sleep. With their very generous help the beautiful day was a huge success. It fills my heart to know my grateful daughter felt love and blessings beyond reason. I hope to use them again in the future.

nator or event team?”—YES, you do. It’s worth every penny! Cheers to a stress-free wedding, executed flawlessly! 🥂

tlists for the event. We took her advice and it all paid off! The client was extremely complimentary of us and explained that we were exactly what she wanted. That’s because Wolf and Bird did not just broker a band, they took the details seriously and set us all up for success. Ellen worked the event. She was cool, calm, and hospitable. She looked like she wasn’t working at all which is how it should be. Preparartion. Preparation. Preparation. Caters, photographer, venue staff, and the band all seemelessly put on an event at their direction in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. I hope to get a call from them again soon! - Limoncello Palace

omplete with a wonderful theme they helped brainstorm, elegant decor (especially loved the sequined linens, unique geo candles and never-before-seen ballon swag), and day-to-evening lighting overlooking the pool and city lights. So many guests commented the party was soooo enjoyable they had a blast. Wolf & Bird goes ‘above and beyond’ with owners Laura and Emily adding personal touches. (like specialty cocktails that were a huge hit!). You will not be disappointed especially if you want ‘special and unique’!

p, the couple was able to enjoy the day stress free.

ion beautifully, no detail was missed. I'm in love with how everything turned out and would recommend Wolf & Bird to anyone!

to being there on the day of to make sure the candles were lit, the table displays looked gorgeous and ensuring that everything was perfect. They eliminated so much stress by taking care of things that I didn’t even think about such as floral arrangements and colors in general. These two are the dream team and your wedding day will go so smoothly with them by your side!
